Biography
Before obtaining her first legal job, she interned with the Travis County District Attorney's Office and McLennan County District Attorney's Office. At the Travis County District Attorney's Office, Ms. Trussell worked closely with the County Court at Law 4 focusing on felony intimate partner crimes. At the McLennan District Attorney's Office, Ms. Trussell worked closely with the Crimes Against Children Division. Additionally, Ms. Trussell interned with a local Waco defense attorney. Ms. Trussell has seen both sides of the criminal justice system and this has given her insight into how to defend for her criminal clients today.
Ms. Trussell's passion for family law began at Baylor Law after assisting with National Adoption Day and working with the local family abuse center. With these collective experiences, Ms. Trussell has a firm grasp with how complicated and emotional family law cases can become and how to handle when her clients feel overwhelmed with the legal and personal issues that are involved in family law.
Ms. Trussell has worked in several counties since being licensed, including Comal, Guadalupe, Hays, Bexar and surrounding counties.
When Ms. Trussell is not working, she is spending time with her family, including her two children.
